Stadion's Sports and Martial Arts Training Discussion

You can do both ways. I use hand as "target" when not sure about my current level of flexibility, usually after previous day heavy training. And no target when loose.

Ok, looks nice and flexible, but what are the supposed combat applications of those moves? Or are the "martial arts" now only supposed to be no-contact folkdance.
